The Stable is a self contained 18th century listed building made from local stone in the grounds of Parsonage Farm and has been sympathetically converted using Oak and Sycamore from our own woodland.
Parsonage Farm consists of a large 15th century farmhouse, it has 100 acres of Water Meadows and Ancient Woodlands immediately below and adjacent to The Stable.
There are uninterrupted views of the Downs, the Yar Valley and the Water Meadows from The Stable.
The Stable is centrally heated and equipped with TV, DVD, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer, Oven & Hob, Washing Machine and Microwave.
Downstairs
Parsonage Farm was originally a Dairy Farm and is now managed for Conservation and the Environment. The woodland and pastures all providing nature walks. The Stable is 3 minutes from the Isle of Wight’s excellent Cycle Track which runs to the sea some 3 miles away at Sandown which is also easily reached by bus or car.
The Norman Church and local pub, with good restaurant are at the top of a pretty walk. The well known Garlic Farm is 1 mile along the road and has an excellent restaurant; it can be accessed across the fields which makes a wonderful walk.
We have excellent fishing 200 metres from The Stable and also at 2 other locations within an easy walk or 2 minutes by car. For details, andy.vermaipa@virgin.net
